A U G U S T
I was greeted with a "pinch and a punch for the first of the month" from Izzy when I woke up this morning (she was gentle with the pinch and the punch!) and it hit me it was August!!
It's hard to believe and get my head around but August is here and I really want to make the most of it.
Do you set goals for yourself? I've always been a bit neglectful when it comes to goals. Lately though, I've been coming to appreciate the importance of planning out my time and setting goals (thanks for your persistence Justin) and I've started to make it a habit that I do daily.. ok not quite every day just yet but I'm getting there! The point is I've been noticing the benefits to doing it, my brain responds well to it and it's something that really seems to help me, so I have decided to set some goals for the month and share them here to help keep me accountable.
Goals for August
- Finish, print, make and list my anxiety zine and activity book
- Keep working on my new warm fuzzies project
- Try to plan daily
- Work to create balance in every day
- Eat better and take good care of myself (start working out again)
- Be consistent in taking my medicines
- Meditiate more
- Work on creating my new office space (so excited for this)
There are goals I have for daily life in general that I didn't need to list but these are the extra things I really want to focus on and get done this month. The last few months I've been really neglectful of myself and my health and I've lost all balance, so it's time to change that.
